Next James Bond: Despite losing out to Regé-Jean Page, Tom Hardy is the fan favorite.
After the release of the following film, No Time To Die, JAMES BOND will be replaced by a new actor in the tuxedo. Despite the fact that Tom Hardy is the fan favorite, he is not now the favorite.
James Bond fans have been on the lookout for signs as to who would replace Daniel Craig as the next 007 actor for the past year. Until Regé-Jean Page arrived on the scene in 2020, Tom Hardy was comfortably at the head of the betting. Following his Netflix show Bridgerton premiered, the Netflix actor surged to the top of the polls, boosting his popularity and cementing his status as the most likely Bond after No Time To Die. However, he may only be in the top spot for a short while.
Hardy is still the top dog in the Bond race, according to Manchester-based car lending provider Choose My Car.
Using Google research and sentiment data, the organization discovered that Page received only 50 daily Google searches about his Bond role.
This isn’t surprising, given that Page’s mainstream success barely began in the last six months.
Google searches for Hardy, on the other hand, are quite popular.
According to the data, Hardy receives over 64,000 Google queries per day about his role as 007 on a daily basis.
As a result of this information, he is currently the most preferred Bond choice.
Idris Elba is in second place, with an astonishing 6,300 Google searches every day.
Elba is a strong contender for the role of the next Bond, as he is used to playing action-packed parts.
Elba most recently starred in Hobbs & Shaw, in which he faced off against Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham at the same time.
Game of Thrones star Richard Madden, on the other hand, keeps a tight eye on him.
The Scottish actor currently receives over 1,100 daily Google searches, indicating that he is still in the running.
When it comes to odds, though, no one can beat Page.
Page was recently given a whopping 4/5 chance of succeeding Daniel Craig as Bond by leading bookmaker Ladbrokes.
This puts the 31-year-old in a league above Hardy.
The Venom star is a strong 4/1 favorite to win.
James Norton of the McMafia fame follows him.
Norton, the British heartthrob, is a strong 5/1 favorite and has been in the race since the announcement of No Time To Die.
Luke Evans, who starred in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, is just behind him. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
