NCIS LA season 13: Kessler returns to haunt Kensi – but not in the way fans expect.

Kessler returns to haunt Kensi in NCIS: Los Angeles season 13 – but not in the way fans think.

Season 13 of NCIS LOS ANGELES is in full swing, and dangerous criminal Kessler is still on the loose, seeking vengeance on Agent Kensi Blye.

Fans of NCIS Los Angeles have been missing sassy no-nonsense Agent Kensi Blye (played by Daniela Ruah), who has recently been on her own on an undercover mission.

Agent Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), her husband and colleague, is clearly missing his wife and wants to surprise her by sprucing up their garden for when she returns.

However, there may be more pressing issues than deciding what color to paint the horizon fence in the CBS police procedural.

Kensi had created a nemesis in Roy Kessler (Frank Military) even before she joined the team.

She was the one who sentenced Kessler to prison for a series of crimes, including minor trafficking.

Everything changed, however, when it was revealed that Kessler had been granted a presidential pardon and had been released earlier in Season 13.

However, before leaving his cell, Kessler threatened to hunt, rape, and kill Kensi, making everyone nervous.

Garrett Randall’s death in Yellowstone had a huge ‘plot hole’ – here’s how it happened.

His presence will be felt once more in the upcoming episode A Land of Wolves, which will air on CBS on Sunday, January 9.

“No on-camera encore is in the books yet, but Kensi’s elusive adversary will be referenced again in this Sunday’s episode,” TV Line confirmed when asked if Kessler would make another appearance on NCIS LA.

While Kensi’s adversary will not be present physically, he will be on everyone’s mind.

And, based on the most recent trailer for A Land of Wolves, there’s a good reason for that.

Hollace Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) has gathered his team to discuss a pressing matter.

He says he received word that five bodies had been discovered near the New Mexico border, where Kensi was working undercover.

Deeks was concerned because one of the bodies was that of a marine Kensi was looking into.

“And the safety of Agent Blye is why we’re all here,” Kilbride responded, “but if you can’t keep your cool, you’re not going near this.”
