The research looked into the number and quality of charity stores in the United Kingdom.
Average Google ratings were also taken into consideration.
Other variables included the number of charity stores per person in a certain location, as well as boutique charity shops that sell designer and vintage items.
Taking all of these factors into account, Nottingham was determined to be the greatest location for secondhand shopping.
Nottingham boasts around 100 charity stores within five miles of the city center, beating London.
Unsurprisingly, London is ranked second on the list.
North London, in particular, was discovered to be a refuge for charity shop hunters in the survey.
Bournemouth placed in third place, with the most charity stores per capita of the top ten cities.
