A CHEAP hack for unblocking a sink in a “few minutes” has been shared by cleaning enthusiasts.

Fans of Mrs. Hinch claim that the hack “always works.”

Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, rose to fame after sharing her cleaning tips and recommendations on social media and television. She now has over 4.2 million Instagram followers.

Her fans have now started their own Facebook groups dedicated to cleaning and organizing advice.

“Hi, our bathroom sink is really slowly draining,” Facebook user Catherine Robinson wrote to Mrs Hinch fans.

“Can you give me some pointers on how to unblock it before I call a plumber?”

Catherine’s post drew over 130 responses from other social media users.

Using bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar was the most popular solution.

“Half a cup bicarbonate of soda and half a cup white vinegar,” said Sue Marks.

“Set aside for 30 minutes and then pour a kettle of boiling water down the drain.”

“Lots of baking soda, then vinegar on top of that, then a kettle of boiling water,” Beatrice Elvas wrote.

“Try it again if it didn’t work the first time.”

“Check the pipe under the sink, sometimes that’s the cause,” Helena Uddin replied.

“Then get some baking soda and pour it down the drain, then white vinegar.”

“Leave it for a few minutes and then wash it down with hot kettle water – it always works.”

“Bicarbonate soda and vinegar,” Kiran Hakeem explained.
