Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, rose to fame after she began sharing her cleaning tips and hacks on social media and television. The cleaning enthusiast has amassed an incredible 4.2 million Instagram followers and has recently purchased her own farm, which she has dubbed “Hinch Farm.”
Mrs Hinch’s fans have started their own social media groups dedicated to cleaning and organizing advice.
Hannah de Courcy, a Facebook user, asked Mrs Hinch fans: “Top tips for cleaning windows, please!”
“We’ve recently moved into a larger house with a conservatory… we’ll pay someone to clean the outside windows, but the quote to clean the inside windows as well comes to £120!”
“So I’m going to try doing it inside myself (I’m terrible at it and leave streaks on windowsmirrorsshower glass),” she says.
“So, what are your product/clothing tips for making them look great?”
Mrs Hinch fans flooded the post with comments, but the most popular response was to use white vinegar.

“I am a cleaner, and I find the best way is either hot water or cold water mixed with white vinegar,” Jean Eldred Burdett said.
“Spray on and wipe off with a glass cloth; no streaks or drying required.”

“White vinegar spray with the Karcher window cleaner leaves them amazing, and it’s so quick to use,” Georgia May Hayes wrote.
“I use white vinegar mixed with water and a little sunlight liquid spray,” Angela Bull replied.

“White vinegar spray and kitchen paper,” Sherry Vaggs explained.
“I work as a cleaner in a ladies’ dance studio.”
The only thing that works without streaks on floor-to-ceiling mirrors is white vinegar spray and kitchen roll.”
