Michelle Heaton sobs as she apologizes to Lorraine for her inebriated appearances.

MICHELLE HEATON sobbed in front of Lorraine Kelly as she apologized for her intoxicated performances on the ITV show while she was at the height of her alcohol addiction.

On Lorraine on Wednesday, the pop artist broke down in tears as she discussed her battle with alcoholism. Lorraine’s interview with the 42-year-old, who entered treatment earlier this year, was seen as an opportunity for her to apologize for appearing intoxicated on her show in the past. Michelle told Lorraine that her addiction had gotten so bad that she “couldn’t breathe” without drinking.

Michelle, who rose to fame as a member of the musical trio Liberty X, opened up to Lorraine about her struggles with addiction.

She stated that alcohol had taken “total control of her life” and that she “couldn’t breathe” without it.

“I would drink on every emotion to deal with fear, compassion, tranquillity, and peace, among other things. I have to realize that it’s OK to be calm; I was always in a state of chaos.”

Lorraine praised Michelle for being a “strong, great, gorgeous woman” and said she was “very proud” of her improvement.

“I simply wanted to apologize to you before we started because there were occasions when I drank before I got on this sofa – and you trusted me,” Michelle explained to Lorraine.

“I ran campaigns for you, and I adore you because you’ve always been so supportive of me, and I want to apologize.”

Lorraine said calmly, “Don’t be ridiculous, you don’t have to apologize to me or anyone else.”

“It would have been easy for you to keep drinking; it would have been difficult for you to say, ‘No, I’m not going to do this anymore.’”

‘I’m sick to death of it!’ Attacks on ‘empty seats’ are slammed by Pen Farthing. Where does Vera season 11 take place? What city is it set in? Janette Manrara is horrified by the Morning Live mishap.

Lorraine went on to name Michelle one of the toughest people she knows, saying that her decision to stop drinking took “genuine guts.”

Lorraine said, “I mean, we followed you when you had all of those health difficulties.”

“You went through a double mastectomy and a hysterectomy, and you’re still standing.”

Lorraine asked the mother of two if her children had to grow up quickly. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
