Michael Jackson’s heinous marriage demand shattered his wife’s heart. Presley, Lisa Marie
For 18 months, Michael Jackson was married to Lisa Marie Presley. Despite the fact that she stated that she loved him and desired children with him, he made some genuinely painful demands near the end of their marriage, which led to their divorce. Lisa Marie claimed he “retaliated” in the most painful way just months after the divorce.
The terrible death of Michael Jackson in 2009 was commemorated this weekend. His tough childhood with father Joe Jackson, and then all the conjecture and accusations surrounding his later years, clouded so much of his life. In his entire life, he only had one significant relationship, and Lisa Marie has stated that they sincerely loved each other. Michael, on the other hand, began making some terrifying demands of his young wife just months after their wedding.
There were and are a variety of reasons why many struggled to accept the King of Pop’s marriage to The King’s daughter.
Apart from Michael’s evident love with Elvis Presley and the need to suppress the rising allegations about his interactions with young boys, Lisa Marie had her own problems when she married Michael.
Lisa Marie had just been officially divorced from her first husband, Danny Keough, for 20 days when they married on May 26, 1994. She also has two young children, Danielle Riley, four, and Ben, a baby.
“I was trying to process what I had done,” Lisa Marie later explained. It was never anything I could be proud of. How could I have hurt someone like that? And then there were these two young ones…”
Michael, on the other hand, was desperate to start having his own children right away, but Lisa Marie had grown up in a divorced family and understood how difficult it would be for her and Michael to make their own marriage work.
She tried to explain it to her new husband, but he responded with an absurd ultimatum.
“I just wanted to make sure,” Lisa Marie subsequently remarked of her desire to have children with Michael.
“I was looking into the future and thought to myself, ‘I don’t want to get into a custody struggle with him.’ I don’t want to do this; I don’t want to compete with him, so I need to make sure everything is in order.’
