Meghan Markle’s tea set is from a British brand: where can I get a duplicate.

Meghan Markle’s tea set is from a British brand: where can I get a duplicate.

MEGHAN MARKLE celebrated her 40th birthday on Wednesday by releasing a new video on her non-profit website Archewell.

Meghan Markle revealed her new project to re-employ women who have been laid off as a result of the pandemic. “Because I’m turning 40, I’m asking 40 friends to donate 40 minutes of their time to mentor a woman who’s reentering the workforce,” she explained.

“Covid has resulted in the job loss of almost 2,000,000 women in the United States alone, as well as tens of millions around the world.

“I believe that if we all do it, if we all devote 40 minutes to some type of active service, we can have a ripple effect,” the Duchess said in a lighthearted video with Melissa McCarthy to introduce the details of her plan.

Meghan’s gorgeous tea-set, on the other hand, drew the attention of royal admirers.

The teacup comes from Harrods, a well-known London department store with a connection to Meghan’s mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

Mohamed Al-Fayed, the father of Dodi Fayad, Princess Diana’s boyfriend near the end of her life, used to own Harrods.

The Duchess of Sussex celebrated her birthday with a lovely cup of tea from Harrods, a subtle tribute to the United Kingdom.

Meghan’s royal touch to her video of drinking afternoon tea, which was perceived as a compliment to the Queen and the Royal Family, did not go ignored.

While on the phone, she also had a buttery shortbread biscuit with her tea.

Harrods describes Meghan’s exact teacup as “a breakfast cup crafted from the finest English earthenware, achieving the distinct decoration through a centuries-old technique of transferring from intricately hand-engraved rollers.” Unsurprisingly, the teacup sold out almost immediately after royal fans learned where Meghan’s tea-set came from.

For those who want to have a royal-approved afternoon tea at home, there is an exact dupe.

It’s a cup and saucer set with blue flower motifs around the rim and a white saucer in the center.

The saucer is additionally gold-plated around the sides to provide an extra regal touch to the set.

The handle of the cup is white, while the cup itself is white with navy flower motifs. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
