Marvel Studios Pays Tribute to the Makkari and Druig Ship in Eternals.

The Makkari and Druig Ship are honored in Marvel Studios’ Eternals.

Eternals is now in theaters, and there are a lot of characters to root for, as well as a couple of couples to root for.

The main romantic storyline in the film is a love triangle between Sersi (Gemma Chan), Ikaris (Richard Madden), and Dane Whitman (Kit Harington), but another pair has the internet buzzing.

Druig (Barry Keoghan) and Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) have a cult following among Marvel fans, with many hoping that their centuries-old friendship will blossom into a romance.

Marvel Studios appears to have gotten the message, as their most recent social media promotion is a tribute to the duo.

“HERE FOR IT!” Marvel wrote. “See Makkari and Druig in Marvel Studios’ @Eternals only in theaters NOW! Get Tickets: (Link in Bio).”

“My beautiful, beautiful Makkari,” Druig says in the trailer.

For y’all who are making awesome fan arts, vids, and fics of our Eternals characters, please know that I’m watching and reading with the biggest smile on my face!” she wrote.

“However, it was Barry and Lauren’s actual chemistry that caused us to lean into it more,” Moore explained.

“It was them at the beach.”

There are so many of them… First and foremost, Barry Keoghan is the sweetest man you will ever meet.

Lauren took him under her wing in some ways.
