MARC PILCHER has died at the age of 53, according to reports.
Marc Pilcher died of Covid at the age of 53. The celebrity had recently received an Emmy for his efforts as a hair and make-up stylist on Bridgerton.
Following the news of Marc’s passing, Bridgerton’s stars have been paying respect to him.
He died earlier today after a fight with Covid, according to reports.
Since 2003, the actress had worked in the film industry on a number of projects, including Mary, Queen of Scots.
Star Wars: Episode IX and Downton Abbey are two such projects on which he has worked.
Marc had just received an Emmy for his work on Bridgerton for outstanding period hair styling just a few months before.
Nicola Coughlan, the star of Bridgerton, confirmed his death earlier today.
In the blockbuster Netflix series, she portrays Penelope Featherington.
She wrote a sweet tribute to her coworker on Instagram earlier today.
“So heartbroken by the loss of Marc Pilcher, Bridgerton Season One’s great and innovative Hair and Makeup designer,” she added.
“Marc was incredibly brilliant and passionate about his work. He earned his first Emmy trophy less than a month ago.
“It’s a tragedy that he died so young, when he still had so much to accomplish.”
In light of the news, she also made an appeal for people to get vaccinated.

“Please use this as a reminder that Covid is still a very real and present risk; please get vaccinated and wear a mask to protect yourself and others,” Nicola concluded.
Others have also expressed their condolences as a result of the news.
