Lydia Dingle, Emmerdale’s dowdy star, is unrecognizable after a glam makeover.
Karen Blick, who plays Lydia Dingle in Emmerdale, has had a glam makeover and now looks nothing like her dowdy character.
Karen, 46, showed off her shoulder-length hair with long layers and a wispy fringe on her Instagram page without a caption.
Her fans rushed to praise the ITV soap star as she smiled while posing for a selfie with her new hairstyle at the hairdressers.
“What a lovely smile you have.”
“Straight from the heart,” one fan wrote.
“It’s so pretty,” said another.
“It looks fab Karen,” said a third.
Since 2016, the actress has played Lydia Dingle in ITV’s soap opera, and she has quickly become a fan favorite.
Lydia Hart, a woman with a secret who later married Sam Dingle, was her first role.
Karen recently opened up about filming in the new socially distanced way, which she starred in one of the soap’s first special lockdown episodes.
“I believe another thing I will miss is hugging people,” she said.
“My morning routine used to consist of coffee, a chat in the corridors, and then a relaxing session in the lovely make-up room.”
“Everyone now has to follow a lot of procedures.”
It is being treated with the utmost seriousness.”
“With all the banter and smiling in the corridors, it will still be a fun place to work,” Karen added.
“We’ll be back to work, but we’ll make sure we stay safe.”
“We were all eager to get back to filming, but we are aware that this is, of course, a serious situation in terms of health and safety and people’s well-being, so that has been taken into account.”
