Lorraine Kelly slams Novak Djokovic, saying, “One rule for the rich and famous and one rule for the rest!”

LORRAINE KELLY slammed Novak Djokovic after it was revealed that Australia had revoked his visa following a backlash over his refusal to take the Covid vaccine.

After his visa was revoked upon his arrival in Melbourne, world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic was transported to an Australian government detention hotel.

The Serbian player had been granted a medical exemption to compete in the Australian Open despite previously stating his opposition to the Covid vaccination.

Lorraine Kelly, however, slammed the exemption for the “rich and famous” when discussing the recent news.

Lorraine inquired of Dr. Amir Khan about Djokovic’s participation in the competition.

“In the last hour, it was announced that world tennis number one Novak Djokovic will be detained in an Australian detention center until Monday, pending a court hearing to fight his deportation from Australia,” she began.

“His visa was denied amid a controversy over his vaccination status ahead of the Australian Open, which he is defending.”

“Dr. Amir is now with me; people underestimate the strength of opposition in Australia to his entry in the first place.”

Amir joked, “It’s all getting started!”

“I made up ‘No-vax for Novak’ this morning on my way to work, what do you think?”

“It’s not bad, nine out of ten,” she replied, before he went on to say, “You’re absolutely right, there are a lot of strong feelings about him in Australia.”

“Keep in mind that in Australia, 90 percent of the adult population has been fully vaccinated.

“They’ve had to go through some of the most severe lockdowns imaginable.”

“They haven’t been able to leave the country, and in some cases, the states,” he added.

“No one is above the rules,” Prime Minister Scott Morrison tweeted, and they have very strict immigration rules.

“People can’t enter Australia unless they’ve had all of their vaccinations.”

“Right now, we don’t know about Novak’s vaccinations, but he has a vaccine exemption,” says the spokesman. “However, his visa has been denied, so he isn’t allowed into the country until Monday.”

“There are only a few medical reasons to be exempt from the Covid-19 vaccine,” he said, before adding, “You can be severely allergic to the vaccine’s contents.”

There are a variety of options, according to Amir.
