Little Mix and Jesy Nelson are no longer on speaking terms.

Jesy Nelson first came to prominence as a member of the girl group Little Mix. The British vocalist is now embarking on a solo career in the music industry.

But she’s doing it on her own, with little help from her former bandmates.

Jesy Nelson began her career as a member of Little Mix.

Little Mix, like Fifth Harmony and other girl groups, formed on The X Factor. The winning group was Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Jade Thirlwall, who became the first group to do so on the UK show.

Little Mix went on to become one of the best-selling girl groups in the UK, with some comparing them to the Spice Girls of the modern day.

DNA is the highest-charting debut album by a British girl group on the Billboard 200 chart, having debuted in 2012.

Throughout the decade of the 2010s, they released four additional albums.

Glory Days, their fourth album, spent five weeks at the top of the charts, the most by a girl group since the Spice Girls’ first album Spice. It even set a new record for a girl group’s first-week album sales in the United Kingdom, surpassing Spiceworld.

Confetti, the group’s sixth album and the final with Nelson as a member, was released in 2020.

Nelson discussed her ties with her old groupmates in a 2021 interview with Glamour UK. She said, “I haven’t spoken to the girls.” “It’s strange because we were as close as sisters for so many years, together every hour of the day for weeks, sharing beds, laughing, sobbing, just the four of us together 24/7, and then… nothing.” She went on to say that she had reached out to Leigh-Anne and Perrie but had not received a response. “I’ve texted a few of times, but that’s it. I’m not sure why; it’s as if there has to be some sort of separation. You can’t do in-between because we were so close; there needs to be space, and perhaps… at some point in the future, we’ll all be able to come back together.” “I adore them,” she said in the end. “They are my sisters in so many ways, but we just don’t talk right now.” Jesy Nelson debuted as a solo artist in 2021. Nelson made her solo debut in October 2021 with the track “Boyz.” The song sampled Diddy’s hit song “Bad Boys” and featured superstar rapper Nicki Minaj.
