LEWIS HAMILTON has targeted British Grand Prix supporters who do not appear to be wearing a face mask.
Despite the end of the lockdown restrictions, Lewis Hamilton is urging Grand Prix spectators to be cautious this weekend. After landing at Silverstone earlier today, he made a social media plea.

The Formula One great, 36, will be up against Red Bull’s Max Verstappen this weekend.
Hamilton is preparing for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend, where he hopes to win for the first time since early May.
In the 2021 Drivers’ Championship, the Stevenage native is 32 points behind Verstappen, while Mercedes is 44 points behind Red Bull in the team standings.
Lewis has only won two races so far this season, in Italy and Spain, but Verstappen has won the past three and four of the last five.
Despite the potentially stressful weekend ahead, the racing pro hopes that spectators would continue to safeguard themselves and others at the event.
Hamilton, who has 23 million Instagram followers, revealed that he was taken aback when he didn’t see supporters donning face masks.
“Hey folks, drive in this morning and didn’t see anybody wearing a mask,” he stated on Instagram Stories.
“Please stay safe and protected during the weekend. Along with a love heart and prayer hands emoji, she wrote, “Please.”
He made the statement barely 16 hours after revealing that he knew people who had tested positive for Covid, but he wanted to make sure supporters had a safe weekend.
“It was so lovely to see everyone today,” he said in an earlier post.
“It’s so nice to see everybody, and the energy is already so positive.”
“Can I kindly ask you to wear your masks and stay safe,” Lewis continued.
“I know of people receiving Covid and being ill even with two jabs,” the Formula One driver remarked.
“As a result, please, please, please stay safe this weekend.
“Wearing a mask is a modest price to pay to be healthy and ensure the health of others around us.”
Along with a praying hand emoji, he signed off with, “With love.”
