Laura Hamilton of A Place In The Sun seeks advice after a colleague swipes her outfit.
A SUNRISE LOCATION Laura Hamilton has turned to her Instagram followers for guidance after one of her Channel 4 colleagues sneered at her choice of outfit during filming.
Laura Hamilton, 39, had her fashion sense questioned last week after one of her A Place In The Sun coworkers compared her clothing to a tablecloth. For the newest episode of the Channel 4 show, the property expert wore a one-shoulder white maxi dress with a sage green floral pattern.
A funny parrot print was also included in the lovely ensemble.
Laura was busy shooting and getting ready for her closing conversation with her house hunters when she changed into her gorgeous summer outfit.
Laura told her 135,000 Instagram followers that, while she felt the clothing was “adorable,” the cameraman she was working with didn’t.
“So I’ve now changed outfits into what I thought was quite a nice dress,” the actress explained.
“However, the cameraman simply took it up and said, ‘Oh, it’s just a tablecloth.’”
Laura then asked her fans if they thought the garment looked like the household item.
“So, what’s the verdict?” she asked her audience.
“Does this dress have the appearance of a tablecloth?”
“Getting ready for the closing chat and @jonasabbott says my dress is like a tablecloth,” Laura wrote in the description of her video.
She then used her Instagram Stories to launch an interactive poll asking people what they thought of her clothing.
“Does this garment resemble a tablecloth?” the survey asked.
After that, Instagram followers were asked to answer “yes” or “no” to Laura’s fashion issue.
Laura then moved to Instagram to tease the conclusion of her latest A Place In The Sun episode by posting two photos of herself in the gown.
In Torremolinos, Spain, the host was caught on the phone while enjoying the sunshine.
Laura was happily posing for the camera in the next photo.
“THE CALL @aplaceinthesunofficial swipe [right]and guess what happened…” she said in the caption.
“#property #spain #makingdreamscometrue #didtheybuyit #torremolinos #benalmadena #lauraloves #tapfortags @mo abdel khalek @anthony and mo,” Laura wrote beside the hashtags.
Despite the actress’s reservations about the gown, her fans showered her with praise in the comments area.
“Absolutely beautiful,” one individual exclaimed.
“Lovely dress, Laura,” said another.
“I’m not sure about a tablecloth, but you look great in it,” said a third.
