Lady Louise Windsor wears Philip’s jacket at the presentation, describing herself as “growing up to a beautiful young woman.”
LADY LOUISE Windsor dazzled royal admirers last weekend with a classy, grown-up ensemble that included one of Prince Philip’s favorite blazers.
During the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the 17-year-old daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie Countess of Wessex was observing carriage driving. Louise, like her grandpa, the late Prince Philip, is a skilled carriage driver.
Her mother, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and her father, Prince Edward, both attended.
In a dark blue trouser suit and a green shirt, the young princess matched her parents’ elegance. The garment formerly belonged to Prince Philip, who was clearly remembered by the young royal at the event. To honor their shared pastime, she also received a carriage and ponies from the Duke of Edinbugh.
The little royal’s day out drew a lot of attention from fans.
“A gorgeous and confident Lady Louise! One fan remarked, “She reminds me so much of a young Queen Elizabeth II.”
Another person inquired, “How stunning is Lady Louise?”
“Louise is maturing into a lovely young lady, and Sophie is all kinds of fabulous,” one remarked.
“Louise has progressed past the awkward stage. Another fan remarked, “I’m turning into a stunner.”
“They all look wonderful and elegant,” added another.
Another concurred, saying, “Lady Louise has definitely developed into a gorgeous young woman.”
“Lovely,” wrote one enthusiast. Lady Louise is stunning; her braces appear to have been removed.”
“The Earl and Countess of Wessex, as well as The Lady Louise, are as charming as ever!” exclaimed one.
Another person commented, “Lovely family.”
“Louise looks like a young Rosamund Pike!” commented one user.
Rosamund Pike is a British actress who has portrayed Jane Bennett in the 2005 Pride and Prejudice adaption as well as a Bond Girl.
Lady Louise will compete in the competitions the following day.
She finished third in the event last year at the age of 16.
“She is naturally very brilliant at it, she really is,” Sophie Countess of Wessex said of her daughter. It’s something she’s gotten used to quickly.”
“She’s liked it, it’s really pushed her into doing things that she’s had to fit into her routine,” she added to the Telegraph.
“She’s already a dedicated individual. This is the kind of item that ticks all of her boxes.
“However, it has given her a tremendous amount of confidence.”
