Kirsten Dunst Hasn’t Seen Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man: No Way Home debuted in theaters last month and has already surpassed (dollar)1 billion in domestic box office receipts, making it the sixth-highest grossing film of all time.

The cameos from former Spider-Man stars have been one of the biggest draws of the Marvel film.

Not only did the film feature many past villains, such as Alfred Molina (Doc Ock), Willen Dafoe (Green Goblin), and Jamie Foxx (Electro), but fans were also delighted to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who played Peter Parker in the comics.

Rumors about the film’s cast started circulating a year before its release, and one star who was thought to be involved was Kirsten Dunst, who played MJ opposite Maguire’s Spider-Man.

Dunst isn’t in the movie, and she recently admitted to People that she hasn’t seen Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“I haven’t done so.”

Dunst responded, laughing, “I’m sorry!”

“I’m aware that I must.

I know Tobey is in it, and it’s such a big surprise that everyone is shocked.

I’m going to do it.

I’m going to watch it when I get a chance.

I’ll probably watch it with my son because he’s getting into Spider-Man stuff.

He watches a little-kid version of Spider-Man, so maybe he’ll join me in watching it.”

Dunst previously expressed interest in returning as an older version of her character in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“I really wish they’d put me in a different one.”

Dunst explained, “Why not, old-girl Mary Jane?”

“I’d do [another superhero film].”

Everybody else is doing it!”

Dunst had previously expressed similar sentiments.

Dunst was asked about a possible return during the world premiere of The Power of the Dog, in the wake of all the No Way Home rumors.

“I’d go for it,” says the narrator.

Dunst told Variety, “Why not? That would be fun.”

“I would never turn down an opportunity like that…

At this point, I’d be an elderly Michael Jackson with a slew of Spider-Man offspring.”

Dunst previously denied being in No Way Home, which later proved to be false.

However, some celebrities were forced to lie.

Garfield recently admitted to The Wrap that lying to the press was fun.

“I’m not going to lie,” Garfield admitted, “it was stressful.”

“It was like this massive game of…,” he continued.
