Kevin Clifton, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, defends the 2021 series after it was dubbed “too PC.”

Following the second live broadcast, Kevin Cliftons defended Strictly Come Dancing 2021, which was dubbed “too politically correct” by one former viewer.

Between 2013 and 2019, Kevin Clifton was a fan favorite on Strictly Come Dancing. Despite her departure, the dancer remains a keen viewer and evidently has strong feelings about the glamorous competition.

This was one of the best episodes of Strictly ever.

Kevin Clifton is a well-known actor.

After seeing a fan’s tweet, the 38-year-old has moved to Twitter to defend the 2021 season.

The individual in issue said that Strictly had become “too PC” and that they had stopped watching.

Kevin retaliated immediately, calling their position “shameful.”

He then went on to praise about the second live episode of the series, claiming that it was one of the best “ever” episodes of the show.

The musician had initially told his 249,000 followers that he wouldn’t be able to watch it as it aired since he was unable to view it live.

“Got a show tonight, so I’ll have to watch @bbcstrictly on catchup,” Kevin tweeted. “I’m looking forward to seeing how everyone reacts.” After leaving Strictly last year, he is presently performing in the musical Rock Of Ages.

Then one fan responded, stating that this was their first time watching the show.

“All to PC now turned it off and won’t watch it for the first time since it started,” @FionaLauren88 stated.

“Shame,” Kevin responded, “since this was one of the best eps @bbcstrictly has ever done, according to what I’m hearing from pretty much everyone (even folks who sometimes criticize).”

A lot of people agreed with him. “I’m love the coupling of the males – I’m finding it fascinating how they both sync their routines and last week taking turns in the lead – so complex but so very interesting and a joy to watch,” @22Yorkshire remarked of same-sex combo John Whaite and Johannes Radebe. “Really excellent tonight,” tweeted @MoyD59. When you hear statements like that, it says a lot about the people of the United Kingdom… For the love of God, it’s an entertainment program!” “What exactly is too PC?” said a third, @HayleyDunbar5. I don’t think I’ve ever cried while watching week 2, but there were some incredible performances and touching moments throughout the episode!” I believe someone has mixed together PC and inclusiveness and joyous!” Sara Davies and Tilly Ramsay came out on top in last night’s show. “Brinkwire News Summary.”
