Kelsey Asbille Discusses the Possibility of a ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff About Kayce and Monica.

The long wait for Yellowstone season four ends tonight, and many fans are concerned about the fate of Kayce (Luke Grimes) and Monica Dutton (Kelsey Asbille).

Asbille spoke to The Daily Caller ahead of the fourth season premiere about what the married couple can expect in the coming episodes.

Asbille hinted, “It’ll get dark, and they’ll have it out.”

“The cliffhanger at the end of this season for Kayce and Monica is the biggest they’ve ever had.”

Now that the Yellowstone universe is expanding, could that big cliffhanger lead to a spinoff series? “As long as it’s Kayce and Monica in space,” Asbille joked.

“No, honestly, I’ve worked with Taylor [Sheridan] for over five years and he’s been a fantastic mentor to me. I’d follow him anywhere.”

“It’s the biggest cliffhanger they’ve had so far.” @Yellowstone star Kelsey Asbille says the season four finale is even crazier than the season three finale.

In other interviews, Asbille has hinted at major developments ahead of Monica and Kayce.

“It’s a lot of pressure.”

“We’re right back where we left off,” the actress told UPI. “Monica has no idea what she’s up against, so [her son]Tate’s safety is her No. 1 priority.”

“The college professor is number one [priority],” she said.

A confrontation between Monica and Kayce about the threat that his family and lifestyle pose to their safety will be part of the fallout from the violence of the season three finale.

Asbille explained, “It’s been a long time coming.”

“They were both in the [emotional boxing]ring, and Luke and I were ready for it.”

We’d never done anything like this before.

We hadn’t talked in a long time.”

“Everyone on the show is fighting for their family, and they’re all doing it in very different ways,” Asbille said.

“Taylor is a romantic at heart.”

He is a huge fan of these characters and supports them.

Who knows what will happen, but I believe they intend to stay in this for the long haul.”

Monica will, according to Asbille, be moving away from the Dutton family in season four and returning to her indigenous roots.

“She goes home and seeks healing from her community and [indigenous]culture.”
