Katy Rickitt, Adam Rickitt’s wife, has received an outpouring of support as she begins a new job following the GMB exit.
On the first day of her new job after quitting Good Morning Britain, KATY RICKITT, the presenter wife of former Coronation Street actor Adam Rickitt, thanked fans for their words of support.
Katy Rickitt, Adam Rickitt’s presenter wife, is best known for her news broadcasts on Good Morning Britain, but she starts a new role today. For the next six months, the TV celebrity will be the face of ITV Calendar’s news for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
Katy took to social media on her first official day in the studio to deliver a video message with fans after being swamped with messages of support in the lead-up to her big day.
She captioned the video, which she shared with her 19,000 Twitter followers, “The Day Has Arrived!”
The indecisive actress went on to say that she had already chosen her attire for her debut.
“For the first time in my life, I actually made a decision!” I’m off to catch up on the news of the day!!” She continued.
The short-haired actress addressed the camera directly from her dressing area in the video.
“Before I begin, I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone for their kind words over the weekend.
“It’ll be my first day on Calendar, so I’m extremely excited,” Katy continued.
“I said I was going to post several clothing possibilities, but I lied since I already knew what I wanted to wear, which is a miracle for me because I can never make up my mind about anything.
“So we’re going to be in royal blue today, and the yellow one in the back there is for tomorrow,” she continued, displaying her choice of outfit.
“I’ve officially taken up residence. There are already a lot of outfits in my closet. I’m really looking forward to that.
“So good luck to me, and I’ll see you all at 6 p.m. on Calendar,” the host said.
