Jonnie Irwin of A Place In The Sun was forced to withdraw from the event after his twins became ill.
A SUNRISE LOCATION After his twins had a stomach virus, presenter Jonnie Irwin had to cancel an event.
On Sunday, Jonnie Irwin, 47, apologized to fans who had expected to see him play for the Lord’s Taverners, a junior cricket and disability sports charity. It comes after he spent the day scrubbing sick out of his children’s bedding due to unforeseen circumstances.

The presenter and his wife Jessica welcomed twins in June of last year, but over the weekend, Jonnie said the couple had been “projectile vomiting.”
Jonnie was on washing duty, a slightly pressing problem, as he hoped for a rapid recovery for his children.
The star of A Place In The Sun took to Instagram to show his fans what he and his family were going through.
He shared a terrible photo of sick-covered bed linens, followed by a photo of all the laundry he had to do.
He winced as he said, “9.30pm both twins projectile vomiting within a few hours of each other throughout the night.”
“Please accept my apologies to anyone hoping to see me play for the @lordstaverners at Tickhill today.
“I’ve had a less glamourous day at home doing laundry! #twins #under3.”
Fans raced to the comments section to wish them well and inform Jonnie that he wasn’t the only one suffering from a stomach virus.
One pleaded, “It’s going around, God horrible, hope it passes soon.”
“Hope they are OK and that the rest of you don’t get it,” a second added.
“I hope you get some rest tonight and that everyone is feeling better,” said a third.
“The delights of being a parent!” said a fourth. Thank god for automatic washing machines! I hope it goes quickly!”
“Oh no,” says the speaker. I thought having a three-year-old and a seven-year-old was difficult enough! “I’m hoping for less vomit tomorrow,” a fifth said, crossing their fingers for him.
“Grim pal,” remarked a sixth. Grim.”
With three children under the age of three, the couple has their work cut out for them.
Jonnie shared a nice photo of the family of five at the zoo together before the dreadful sickness post.
