Joe Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is fighting to bring his children back to America three years after being deported and serving time in prison.

Joe Giudice, who was deported from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, is fighting to bring his daughters back to the US.

Following his release from prison, he has been living in Italy since October 2018.

However, the 49-year-old reality star has revealed that he has hired a lawyer in an attempt to reunite with his family in America.

“I’d like to be able to see my children again in our home state, be a part of their lives, be physically present when they need me, and watch them grow up,” Joe told Us Weekly.

Joe also wants to reunite with his older relatives, such as his mother and grandmother.

“Before the time comes when she is no longer on this Earth, I long to hold my grandmother in my arms again.”

“I want to be with my mother and family, in the place I’ve called home since I was a year old,” he said.

Jessica M Cadavid, an immigration lawyer, has been retained by the businessman to assist him in his legal endeavors.

“I’m hopeful and praying that I’ll be able to return home soon,” he said.

Jessica intends to apply for a waiver of inadmissibility in order to avoid Joe’s deportation.

According to reports, he would not have been approved under Trump’s administration, but the lawyer believes there is a better chance now that Biden is in office.

‘We’re hoping that this time, with the passage of time since his deportation and the fact that he still has a family and children here, he could ask the government for forgiveness and at the very least return to see his family,’ Jessica said.

Joe rose to fame alongside his former wife Teresa on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

They split up in December 2019, despite not having lived together since Joe went to prison in early 2016.

Teresa was sentenced to prison in 2015 and completed her sentence.

Joe was deported to Italy after serving time in prison for fraud charges, and he still lives there today.

Teresa announced her and Joe’s decision to end their marriage on a trip to Italy during the season 10 finale of Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Teresa and her four daughters were followed in the episode as they visited Joe in his hometown of Sala Consilina, Italy, following his release from ICE custody in October.
