Jim Morrison’s death: What happened to him? What was the cause of death for The Doors’ singer?

JIM MORRISON passed away 50 years ago today, on July 3, 1971, but how did he pass away and how old was The Doors vocalist at the time?

The 50th anniversary of Jim Morrison’s death on July 3, 1971 is today. The singer is a member of the 27 Club, having died at the age of 27 along with several of his contemporaries. Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin are among them.

Morrison was the lead singer of the rock band The Doors, and he died unexpectedly in Paris, France.

Despite his alcoholism, his cause of death has remained a mystery to this day because no autopsy was performed because it was not required by French law.

Morrison told the members of the band that he intended to go to Paris after recording The Doors’ sixth album, LA Woman.

Pamela Courson, his lover, rented an apartment for him at 17-19 Rue Beautreillis in Le Marais in March 1971.

In the weeks that followed, Morrison shed some of the weight he’d lately gained and shaved his beard.

The Doors vocalist reported going on long solo treks through Paris in letters to pals.

Morrison was discovered dead in the bathtub of the flat by Courson at 6 a.m. on July 3, 1971, exactly 50 years ago today.

The official cause of death was heart failure, however no autopsy was performed, as previously stated.

Several eyewitnesses, however, believe Morrison died as a result of an unintentional heroin overdose.

He and Courson had been using the narcotic while listening to music, according to the most common version of the night before.

And when The Doors singer had a severe reaction, she put him in a warm bath to help him recover.

His girlfriend dialed 911, but the paramedics were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead.

Marianne Faithfull has claimed that The Doors singer’s death was caused by her ex-boyfriend, drug dealer Jean de Breiteuil, who died in 1972.

She claimed that she and Jean had delivered heroin to Morrison’s flat just hours before he died, and that the drug was powerful enough to kill him.

“I mean, I’m sure it was an accident,” Marianne told MOJO in 2014. B*****d, you’re a b*****d. Was the smack a little too strong? Yeah. And then he passed away.”

Morrison passed away exactly two years after Brian Jones and roughly nine months after Jimi Hendrix, according to “Brinkwire Summary News”.
