Jasmine Harman of A Place in the Sun is taken aback when a couple offers $50,000 less than the asking price.

A SUNRISE LOCATION During Monday’s program, host Jasmine Harman was taken aback when one couple made a “cheeky” low bid for their dream vacation house.

Jasmine Harman, host of Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun, was hoping to locate retired couple Pauline and Peter their dream home in Lanzarote on the most recent episode of the show. With a budget of £350,000, the couple, who have 15 grandchildren, were looking for a vacation property. The pair met on Lanzarote and spent seven months of the year there, so they wanted to make it a permanent move. When it came to making a bid on one house, though, Jasmine was caught aback when the pair made an offer that was £50,000 less than the asking price.

Peter explained that they were looking for a home with three or four bedrooms.

They also desired a home with two baths, as well as a private pool.

Jasmine took the two to a semi-detached villa to start their quest. There were three bedrooms and two bathrooms included in the package.

Although the home came with a private pool, it was priced above budget at roughly £360,000.

However, Jasmine didn’t get off to the best of starts because Pauline told the expert the villa was “good” before they ever stepped foot inside.

Despite the difficult start, the pair appeared to be thrilled with the property’s size, especially the enormous swimming pool and outdoor space.

“It’s fantastic,” Peter commented after the showing, pointing out the size of the living room.

“It’s like an extra apartment,” he continued.

He went on to say that the main drawback was that the house was semi-detached, whereas they preferred a detached home.

Jasmine escorted the pair to a secluded property with a private pool for their second vacation.

However, it lacked the original property’s breathtaking sea views.

Although Peter and Pauline liked several parts of the four-bedroom home, they felt the master bedroom was too tiny for them.

Following the viewing, the couple ruled the villa out outright, claiming it was “missing something.”

A standalone villa with two bathrooms and a private pool was the third property. At £330,000, it was also under budget.

The outdoor kitchen was the first thing Jasmine showed the two, and Peter was immediately enthralled. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
