ADAM HENSON has spoken out about the difficulties farmers have been facing, some of which have resulted in mental health issues.
According to Adam Henson, there is “a significant amount of trouble” in farming, as evidenced by his new show Our Family Farm Rescue. Following a recent episode in which he caught up with struggling couple James and Karen Baird at Potterland Farm, viewers were left emotional.
The farmer talked up about the emotionally draining experience before the broadcast aired.
“Yes, there is a lot of trouble in farming right now with mental illness, and suicide is also pretty common, which is terrible,” he remarked.
“In Scotland, I meet James, whose father recently died and left him with the task of running the family farm on his own.
“He was really struggling and started to suffer financially and mentally, and he ended up in the hospital suicidal.”
Demi Rose flaunts her assets in an eye-popping show.
“It’s a really emotional episode following him and his partner, Karen, as they try to turn their business around selling their beautiful beef and lamb products directly to the consumer,” he told WatchToWatch.com.
Karen said of her husband during the episode, “At his worst, he was suicidal, and I had to pick up the phone and call the mental health team.”
“I was worried he’d go through with it, and he ended up in the hospital at that point.”

“They’re all a little different,” he added, “but there’s obviously a desire from the general public to see them.”
