‘It’s not right.’ Prince William, enraged, gives a dire warning about the future of children.
Following billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ historic space journey, PRINCE WILLIAM has warned BBC viewers that “our children’s futures could be snatched.”
On an exclusive TV interview with BBC Newscast’s Adam Fleming at Kensington Palace, the Duke of Cambridge chastised Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for taking off in a rocket built by his company.
As the focus shifts to the space race rather than solving climate change, William cautioned BBC Breakfast listeners that “if we’re not careful, we’re robbing from our children’s future by what we do now.”
During the interview, the Duke of Cambridge stated that having children had changed the way he “sees the world.”
“Now that I have children of my own, and I’m talking to other parents, I’m starting to see the world in a different light,” he explained.
“I want the things that I’ve enjoyed – the outdoors, nature, and the environment – to be available to my children, and not just my children, but all children.”
“I want to use my small amount of influence/profile to promote wonderful people doing incredible things who will actually help fix some of these problems,” William added.
Richard Madeley’s statements have shocked Dame Joan Collins.
He went on to say: “If we aren’t careful, we will be plundering our children’s future by our actions today. And I don’t think that’s right.” Mr. Bezos’ Blue Origin space flight firm, which included Star Trek star William Shatner and two other passengers, blasted off to the edge of space on Wednesday, prompting his remarks.
