‘It works really well,’ says a man who shares a brilliant tip for drying clothes in tight spaces.

A MAN has shared his brilliant tip for drying clothes quickly and easily in small spaces without spending any money.

Wet laundry, especially if a home is small, can be difficult to dry at this time of year.

It can be tempting to hang clothes on the radiator or leave them on chairs if you don’t have a tumble dryer, an airing cupboard, or enough space for a large air dryer.

Joel Thomas, a Liverpool resident, has shared an ingenious way to save not only space but also dry laundry.

His weekly chore routine has been drastically altered thanks to the drying hack.

Joel decided to hang his clothes up to dry rather than using a tumble dryer or a regular clothes dryer.

Joel described the hacking process to 247 Blinds in detail.

“My wife had been complaining that she didn’t have enough space to dry our laundry,” he explained.

“She was adamant that she didn’t want to buy a clothes horse because we live in a tiny terrace house and are already cramped.”

“I suggested hanging the laundry above the radiator on the venetian blinds.

“She was initially opposed to the idea, fearing that the wet laundry would pull down our newly installed blinds.”

Joel eventually persuaded his wife that the drying hack was a good one.

Joel’s wife came home one day to find all of their socks and smalls draped over the Venetian blind with ease.

“It works really well for smaller items of clothing and underwear, and it’s now become a staple part of our weekly washing routine,” he continued.

Because not every home has or is suitable for Venetian blinds, this hack may not be for everyone.

Michelle Wall, an interior consultant at 247 Blinds, has offered advice to those interested in attempting the hack.

First and foremost, homeowners should clean their blinds before hanging their laundry.

If you don’t clean your blinds regularly, they will collect dust and grime.
