Is the Bosch spin-off going to be based on Michael Connelly’s books?

Season 7 of BOSCH is now available, bringing the crime drama to a finale.

On Amazon Prime today, Friday, June 25, the last series of Bosch was published. On the streaming site, all eight episodes of the Detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) series are now available to view. But don’t worry, fans, since this isn’t the last time you’ll get to see Bosch’s exploits.

Bosch’s story may be over, but it’s far from over, as Amazon Prime announced earlier this year that the investigator would be receiving his own program.

Filming for the unannounced new series will begin later this year, with the possibility of a 2022 premiere on the streaming service.

So far, there are few specifics about the impending spin-off and what it will be about.

However, Natalia Castellanos, who portrays Mayor Susanna Lopez in Bosch, spoke with This website about what fans may expect from the show.

Is there going to be a season 8 of Bosch?

“I was really pleased [when I heard about the spin-off]because I loved this program to begin with, but I love when they flip things around and make more human reality storylines that can happen to anyone’s profession and what they want to achieve with their life,” Castellanos said.

“So I believe it’ll be a terrific transition and at a perfect moment to do it, so I’m looking forward to that.

“I don’t know all that’s going to happen in that regard, but I do know that it’ll be based on Michael Connelly’s books.

“There’s talk about him [Harry Bosch] leaving the police force and pursuing more investigative work, such as in the private investigation field.

“So I’m hoping it’ll be tracking a few more of Michael Connelly’s [Connelly] books.”

Author Michael Connelly has published a total of 20 Bosch books.

As a result, there is plenty of room for new plots to be developed for the spin-off series.

What has been established is that actor Welliver, as well as Bosch’s daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz) and Honey Chandler, will star in the drama (Mimi Rogers).

According to the brief description, he will begin the new chapter of his career, working with his former adversary and top-notch attorney Honey ‘Money.’ “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
