Garten’s passion for food led her in a whole new direction, while she started her career in the White House.

She started a specialty food company and ultimately had a range of cookbooks that were wildly successful. But her tantalizing version of the hidden spice cinnamon rolls could just take the cake away.

Her favorite recipes were shared with Ina Garten.

Simply whisk together all of the spices mentioned until combined, to prepare the chai spice. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Celsius then.

Dust your work surface gently with flour and roll out one sheet of puff pastry until it is approximately 1/4 inch thick. Place in the refrigerator with the second layer.

Brush with melted butter the rolled out puff pastry, making sure to leave a border around the edges of around 1 inch.

Then sprinkle the melted butter with half of the brown sugar, chai spice mixture, and cinnamon evenly.

Roll the dough gently into a spiral that is strong. To close the seam, use some remaining melted butter. Cut the dough into six even pieces with the aid of a sharp knife and put them in a parchment lined mold. Place the mold in the refrigerator and use the remaining puff pastry to repeat the steps.

Bake them for 25-30 minutes once the rolls are ready.

Make the glaze while the rolls are baking.

Beat the butter until fluffy and add the powdered sugar slowly to do this, then add milk or tea and flavorings until you have the taste and consistency you like.

Microwave the frosting for 10-20 seconds so that it can be quickly poured onto the cookies as soon as the cinnamon rolls come out of the oven.
