In the trailer for her new real estate show, Kendra Sells Hollywood, KENDRA Wilkinson sobbed and said that everyone “given up on her.”
The reality show will follow Kendra as she works as a real estate agent in Los Angeles, selling properties all across the city.
The six-part docuseries follows the mother of two as she adjusts to her new job at Douglas Elliman, a high-profile real estate firm.
According to the clip posted by PEOPLE, the shift for the former Playboy model does not appear to be simple.
“Here I am, about to become a real estate agent!” the 36-year-old says to the camera at the start of the video.
“I used to be able to make a lot of money just by walking into a bar,” the Girls Next Door star revealed.
She explains that she made the decision to change careers in order to provide a better life for her children, Hank IV, 11, and Alijah, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Hank Baskett.
She is desperate to show to her coworkers that she can make it in the ruthless world of real estate, even as she struggles to find her groove in the high-stress sector.
“So many people gave up on me,” she said in the video, recalling what people used to tell her: “‘You’re just a D-lister from the Playboy world.'” “It’s so cliche.” “I want to be in charge of my narrative,” the reality star said as she broke down in tears at the enormous pressure to achieve. I want to be in charge of my life and be able to truly wow my children.” “At this point, failure is not an option,” she continued.
Following her 35th birthday in June 2020, Kendra announced that she had passed her real estate exam.
Following her test results, she remarked on Instagram, “What I’ve been working on while quarantine finally paid off by passing my California real estate exam on the first try.”
“I couldn’t sleep for a minute because I was so frightened, but I made it, and now I can breathe and appreciate my hard work.”
The former Dancing With the Stars participant announced her participation in the new series a year later.
Kendra said in a press statement, “I’ve been on TV, on magazine covers, and shared all of the ups and downs of my personal life with my fans.”
