‘I’m doing my best,’ Julia Bradbury says as she shares the latest news about her cancer battle.
JULIA BRADBURY has gotten a lot of love from her Facebook friends and Twitter followers.
A fan expressed their gratitude for Julia’s outspoken Twitter posts on the subject of cancer diagnosis, which the BBC host shared in a screenshot.
Julia Bradbury, 51, has been battling breast cancer since September, when she was diagnosed.
She took to Twitter to update her followers on her health.
I’d like to share what I’ve learned and walk this journey with you all.
Julia Bradbury is a writer who lives in New York City
She spoke about how she is trying to turn her experience into a positive one, where she can help others, in front of her 154,400 followers.
“I’m doing my best to turn my breast cancer diagnosis into a learning and growth opportunity,” she said.
“I want to share what I’ve learned and walk this journey with all of you because, unfortunately, cancer will touch all of us at some point in our lives.”
She shared a private message from a Twitter follower thanking Julia for her support during her cancer battle.
“Had my mammogram just waiting for my ultrasound this Saturday then results fingers crossed it’s nothing,” the post said.
“I just wanted to say that if it hadn’t been for your posts encouraging women to get checked, I would probably not have gone to the doctor in the first place.”
Julia’s work is making a huge difference in the lives of cancer patients, according to the social media user, and she is a huge inspiration.
Julia’s fans reacted positively to the actress’s post.
“As a leukemia patient, I’ve learned so much about values, priorities, and humility that I didn’t appreciate,” @Herbsher wrote.
“Go girl…..from a prostate cancer survivor…..we have to spread the word because if it saves just one life it’s so worth it…..but hopefully it saves so many more….” tweeted @Nealweekes.
Julia isn’t the first celebrity to use social media to keep fans updated.
The BBC host shared a number of tips with her Twitter followers earlier this week to help ease the pain of recovery.
This includes a heart-shaped pillow that she places under her arm to relieve any pain or discomfort.
“They’re so soothing because they fit underneath your arm, and if you.
