‘I wouldn’t want to be competing this year,’ Janette Manrara admits after being eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing.

JANETTE MANRARA has admitted that she “would not want to be competing” in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing because of the “tough competition.”

Janette Manrara, host of It Takes Two, has stated that she would not want to compete on this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing after shocking fans by exiting the dance floor earlier this year.

The star, 38, announced earlier this year that she would be joining the popular dance show’s spin-off show, and it appears that the wife of dance professional Aljaz Skorjanec made the right decision based on her assessment of this year’s contestants.

I’m not interested in competing this year.

It’s a fantastic one.

The Miami native shared her thoughts on the series thus far with This website exclusively at the Together For Short Lives charity event.

Janette admitted that it was too difficult to predict which couples would be strong contenders for the coveted Glitterball trophy.

“It’s one of those series this year where you just don’t know what’s going to happen,” she explained.

“I feel like anyone has a chance to get to the final, and because there are only three people in the final now that Rob is gone, it’s always a tough competition.”

“I wouldn’t want to be competing this year,” Janette added.

“It’s a good one,” says the narrator.

Janette stepped away from her dancing role on Strictly Come Dancing after eight years to take on presenting duties on It Takes Two.

“I knew that I love dancing and being a part of the show,” she said of the transition away from the main program.

“However, now that I’m out of it, I realize how much I love Strictly, and I’m obsessed with the professional dancers, the hair, make-up, and wardrobe team, as well as the crew who worked with us.”

“And when you do it for as long as I did, it’s like a family,” she says.

“It’s like a second home,” she continued.

The actress revealed that she tries to attend the live shows on Saturday nights in order to show her support for her former studio co-stars.

“And I try to go on every or as many Saturdays as I can, to at least watch behind the scenes,” Janette explained.
