‘I might not have been the best,’ Katie McGlynn admits after landing at the bottom of Strictly.

After finishing in the bottom two on week two of Strictly Come Dancing 2021, KATIE MCGLYNN has spoken out.

Katie McGlynn, 28, has shared her experience of her dance with pro partner Gorka Marquez last night with admirers.

The Hollyoaks star acknowledged she “may not have been the best” as she did a jive during week two of Strictly.

She used Twitter today to inform her 106,000 followers on her performance from last night.

“I had so much fun with @gorkamarquez1 last night!” Katie wrote.

“I might not have been the finest of the night,” she continued, “but I gave it my all and enjoyed every second…”

Check back in tonight to see if we make it another week.”

Fans of the actress flocked to social media to express their support for her.

“Aww,” wrote MrBsTweet. I just finished watching @KatiexMcGlynn @gorkamarquez1 from last night’s Strictly Dancing and I really like Katie’s funny facial expressions, which she told us about two weeks ago.

“And you can tell how much energy and effort they’ve put into it. (sic)”

I’m not a big fan of the show, but this is fantastic.

“You both should be proud, you both did so well!” added somebodytotris_.

“Bless you for attempting to juggle everything,” Fan jandj commented. So motivating.” Katie is said to have been balancing filming for the Channel 4 soap in Liverpool with her dancing sessions.

“Tensions appear to be increasing as the star strives to handle her two huge obligations,” a TV source told the Sun.

“There’s no allegation that Katie is to fault; Hollyoaks is pulling her in one direction, while Strictly is pulling her in the other.

“However, there’s no doubt that her schedule is exhausting her, and she isn’t getting as much work with Gorka as she would want.”

“Who’s even set up rehearsal sessions in Manchester to make her life easier?”

Katie is not to blame for the situation, according to BBC executives.

“The allegation that Strictly production is disappointed in Katie for any reason is completely incorrect,” a spokesperson for the show said.

Katie’s choice was supported by the production crew, according to a Hollyoaks spokesperson.

“Exterior sequences were delayed earlier this week due to wet weather,” they stated.

“We then rescheduled a scene so Katie could go to her training, and we’ll all be cheering her on tonight.”
