How Many ‘Outlander’ Stars Are in the ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel? ‘House of the Dragon’: How Many ‘Outlander’ Stars Are in the ‘Game of Thrones’ Prequel?

The Targaryen civil war, known as the ‘Dance of the Dragons,’ will be the centerpiece of ‘House of the Dragon.’

The precursor to ‘Game of Thrones’ will have a vast ensemble cast.

In ‘House of the Dragon,’ Graham McTavish isn’t the only ‘Outlander’ star.

House of the Dragon is the first in a series of Game of Thrones-related shows that HBO Max is developing.

Season 1 of the prequel is now in production, and it will premiere on Netflix in 2022.

House of the Dragon, like the original Westeros series, features a big ensemble cast. A few former stars of the time-traveling program Outlander are among them.

The events of ‘House of the Dragon’ take place approximately two centuries before the events of ‘Game of Thrones.’

The widely anticipated Game of Thrones prequel is based on George R. R. Martin’s novel Fire & Blood, which follows the Targaryen family’s reign.

The “Dance of the Dragons,” a terrible Targaryen civil war that happened at the height of the family’s dominance, will be the subject of the series.

The plot takes place around 180 years before the events of the original series, in a world where there are far more dragons than there are in the original series.

“Dragons fascinate me. “In Game of Thrones, we had three of them, but now we have like 17 of them,” Martin revealed recently on The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of podcast.

“They’ll each have their own personalities, and you’ll instantly recognize them when you see them, with their colors and everything, because the dragons in the novels do have personalities, and it’ll be fantastic to see that come to life.”

And then there’s the dragon riders.

All of this is quite fantastic.”

Some familiar faces appear in the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel’s cast.

One of the upcoming series’ greatest stars, Doctor Who and The Crown alum Matt Smith, appears in the first teaser trailer for House of the Dragon. He portrays Prince Daemon Targaryen, a member of the Targaryen family who is vying for the Iron Throne.

“Gods, kings, fire, and blood,” he says in his voiceover.

“Dragons, not dreams, made us kings.”

Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen, and Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, called the Sea Snake, are among the other confirmed cast members.

In ‘House of the Dragon,’ how many ‘Outlander’ stars will appear?

Graham McTavish, who played Dougal MacKenzie in Outlander, was discreetly cast in House in May, according to The Hollywood Reporter… Brinkwire Entertainment brief news.
