‘How did the Americans leave £62 billion worth of weapons behind?’ Eamonn Holmes lashes out at Joe Biden, calling him “crazy.”
On Monday’s This Morning, EAMONN HOLMES mocked US President Joe Biden for denying accusations that the US had left £62 billion worth of weapons behind.
On Monday’s This Morning, Eamonn Holmes filled in for Alison Hammond and co-hosted the show with Rochelle Humes. Matthew Wright and Julia Hartley-Brewer were welcomed onto the show to discuss the morning’s headlines, which included the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan. However, Holmes slammed Joe Biden for claims that the Taliban had acquired access to US weaponry left behind.
“Could someone perhaps explain how the Americans managed to leave £62 billion worth of weapons behind?” Holmes inquired.
Wright responded, “The entire story is one of total befuddlement.” “I’ve talked to military personnel, legislators, right-wingers, and left-wingers, and no one can explain how we ended up in this predicament.
“Trump and Biden set an unreasonable deadline, and the Taliban refused to budge.
“We put the Taliban in the best position they’ve ever been in.”
“The idea is that you blow it up, burn it, and don’t leave it to the enemy,” Holmes explained.
