‘How about my child?’ Biden’s attitude during a private meeting is criticized by the father of a dead marine soldier.

In the aftermath of his meeting with US President Barack Obama, the father of one of the marines who sadly perished in the attack on Kabul Airport screamed at Joe Biden.

When speaking with Fox News host Sean Hannity about their kids, Mark Schmitz and Darin Hoover, dads of two of the marines killed in the Kabul terrorist attack last week, broke down. The exchange came after the families had a private meeting with Joe Biden, during which the President expressed his sympathies to the families of the slain marines, but one of the fathers stated that “it did not go well.”

Sean Hannity, speaking on Fox News, said to the fathers, “I cannot comprehend the grief you’re both going through.”

“Please accept my sincere apologies. “Mark, how did your weekend meeting with Biden go?”

“Well, first I wasn’t going to meet with him,” Mark Schmitz, father of 20-year-old son Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, said.

“He talked a little more about his own son than we did about my son, and that didn’t set good with me,” he continued.

Beau Biden, President Biden’s eldest son, served as a Major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) in Iraq and got a bronze medal for his efforts.

In 2015, Mr. Biden died of a brain tumor at the age of 46.

“Mr Hoover, you stated about your kid-he had the largest heart in the world, and no parent-as a father myself, I think every parent watching right now understands this,” the Fox News anchor remarked, honoring Mr Hoover’s son Taylor’s service in the Marines.

“No parent should have to bury their child; it’s not how it’s meant to work.”

“You know it is,” Mr Hoover said.

NOT TO BE MISSED:

“Having them away for so long and performing the job that they all adore is the worst feeling in the world.

“Being a Marine to these boys is everything,” he gasped out between sobs.

“Every single one of them will become a hero.”
