Hope Stape confronts Joseph Brown as she returns to school in Coronation Street?
Hope Stape, a troublemaker on Coronation Street, has frightened her family in recent months as her evil side has resurfaced. In an act of vengeance against Tyrone Dobbs and Alina Pop, the child set fire to their home. She’s been given permission to come home, but not everyone is happy about it.
Hope’s (Amelia Flanagan) mother, Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine), has been a strong supporter of her daughter, feeling that the best place for her to be is with her family in Weatherfield. However, several Coronation Street residents, especially Fiz’s brother Chesney Brown, are anxious about Hope’s return (Sam Aston). Hope has previously been aggressive towards his son Joseph (William Flanagan) in the ITV serial, so he is familiar with the schoolgirl. As a result, when Hope returns to school in following episodes, he cautions his sister that Hope should avoid her cousin. But, given her recent outbursts, could the 10-year-old kill Joseph in retaliation for what Chesney has said?
Fiz is aware that her daughter requires assistance, but she believes that being at home and having the support of her family is the best option for her.
However, she and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) have both expressed concern over Hope’s lack of remorse.
“When the police ask you about the fire, you need to tell them that you are truly, really sorry,” Tyrone said when the two told their daughter the police were aware of the incident.
The schoolgirl protested, “It was an accident,” but Tyrone responded, “Alina ended up in the hospital.”
Hope, on the other hand, didn’t seem disturbed, sighing, “She’s fine!”
“Anyway, it doesn’t matter about the crib now that there’s no baby to put in it,” she continued bitterly.
Before racing out of the room, she apologized to her parents.
Hope has made it plain that she has no regrets about her conduct, and Fiz is scared that she has followed in the footsteps of her homicidal father, John Stape (Graeme Hawley).
Official spoilers have been released. Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) will notify Tyrone that she has scheduled a call with her parents to discuss their trip plans.
Fiz interrupts them, revealing that they need to pick up Hope from school because she isn’t settling in.
Hope agrees to return to school after some mild prodding.
In later scenes, Chesney is surprised to learn that his niece has returned. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
