Holly Willoughby’s new-found ‘confidence’ is the driving force behind her recent solo move away from ITV.

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY says she’s “happy to be adding something different to her schedule” with her latest project, which sees her switch to the BBC to host a new series without her best friend Phillip Schofield.

Holly Willoughby, 40, is best known for being one of ITV’s more well-known faces, but she’s moving on to new pastures with a new role at the BBC. She’ll be joining Lee Mack and Wim ‘The Iceman’ Hof in the new survival show, which will see celebrities embark on an epic journey of self-improvement and face a “unique test of mental strength like no other.”

This show is going to be a lot of fun.

Holly Willoughby is a British actress.

Many fans may find it strange that she will not be joined by her long-time co-star and best friend Phillip Schofield, with whom she co-presents This Morning and Dancing on Ice.

However, sources close to the TV star claim that her newfound confidence in hosting Wim Hof’s Superstar Survival stems from her newfound confidence in presenting solo without her pal.

Holly joined Dec Donnolly on I’m A Celebrity in Australia in 2018, until Ant McPartlin returned.

“Holly is loving working on the new show and loves the people she’s working with,” the source told OK! Magazine.

“Of course, she enjoys working with Phil, but she’s also a star in her own right who doesn’t need their collaboration.”

“She’s done This Morning for so long and she enjoys it so much,” they added, “but she’s happy to be adding something new to her schedule as well.”

“She found the jungle liberating and enjoyed it more than she had anticipated.

It instilled faith in her.

“She does an excellent job of balancing everything; she enjoys her work and is able to juggle her family and social lives.”

Holly’s new role was first announced in August of last year, and she appears to be looking forward to diving into the “brilliantly entertaining” series.

“I can’t wait to work with Lee and Wim on this show,” she said.

“In our house, Lee is a favorite because he’s so hilariously funny, and I’ve long admired Wim – he’s a genius who is incredibly passionate about helping others.

“This show is going to be brilliantly entertaining, and you never know what’s going to happen.”
