Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins will return to Channel 4 later this month after a long hiatus. Kerry Katona, a contestant on the show, talked about how the grueling trials helped her cope with the loss of her husband George Kay.

With its second celebrity edition, SAS: Who Dares Wins is primed to make a spectacular comeback to screens.

In the upcoming series, 12 celebrities will take on the task of stepping away from the spotlight and traveling to the Scottish Hebrides.

They will be put through grueling tasks and put to the ultimate physical and emotional test there.

Five ex-Special Forces soldiers will lead them on one of the most difficult selection courses yet, pushing them to their limits.

Kerry Katona, a singer and media personality, is one of the 12 celebrity recruits taking on the challenge.

The participant from 2021 recently discussed how the show helped her cope with the loss of her spouse George Kay.

Kerry revealed her feelings at the moment during an emotional incident in the mirror room, saying, “I was so upset at him because George died, he simply died.”

She explained, “He put me through so much st, terrified the st out of us, and then simply died – there was a lot of resentment built up there.”

Kerry said, “It’s almost like I was able to grieve George’s death because I thought it was a safe place to bring up George’s death, which is really strange.”

“It was one of the best things I’ve ever done,” the Whole Again singer said. It provided me a sense of finality about my life and myself.

“I needed to lock the door on George’s death because I hadn’t really grieved him, so when I went there, it all just came gushing out,” she explained.

Kerry married former rugby league star George Kay in 2014, but the couple split three years later following a tumultuous relationship.

George died of a heroin overdose in 2017 after suffering from a series of mental illness-related meltdowns.

Kerry briefly revealed that he and his wife had a tumultuous marriage that was often played out in public. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
