Hawkeye fans are pleading with Marvel to bring back Rogers The Musical.

The first two episodes of Hawkeye have left fans yearning for more Rogers The Musical. Disney(plus) may have to make room on the service for yet another smash-hit musical. Clint Barton and his family may not have enjoyed Rogers’ music, but real-life admirers can’t get enough of it. The hashtag “Save The City” has been trending on Twitter all day. This appears to be the case throughout the rest of the weekend. The song was written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Marry Poppins Returns is among their credits. If the musical aspects were to work on screen, head writer Jonathan Igla understood he’d have to turn up the fire. Having that kind of ability on hand makes the job a lot easier. “I was sitting at an Academy Award banquet with Scott when someone grabs me on the shoulder and says, ‘Excuse me, Kevin Feige would love to meet you,'” she says. The identity of Shaiman was disclosed. “I recognized Kevin and thought to myself, “Hey, he wants to meet me?” Kevin turns out to be a film score nerd. I couldn’t believe what was occurring when he started talking about [the scores I’d created]one by one. We began exchanging emails about scores and other topics, and whenever I saw [Marvel films], I would send him an email.
