Guardians of the Galaxy: Is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 the final installment in the franchise?
Vol 3 of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is set to be released in 2023, but will it be the final installment in the Marvel series?
In 2014, the Guardians of the Galaxy heroes made their debut, introducing fans to the raucous world of space exploration and bounty hunting. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 delves more on Peter Quill’s (Chris Pratt) relationship with his father and his own species. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 will mark the conclusion of one of the Marvel franchise’s key arcs.

Marvel has yet to reveal whether or not the Guardians of the Galaxy series will conclude.
As a result, James Gunn, the director of the first two films, has indicated that he will leave the franchise after Vol 3 is published.
Back in May, a fan on Instagram addressed the filmmaker about this knowledge, asking, “Why do you feel like Vol 3 will be your last [why]not continue to Vol 4?” (sic)
“Because it completes the story I started telling in Vol 1,” Gunn replied. For me, it’s the end.”
“Right now I plan on the third [feature]being the end,” Gunn said when asked if he would consider making a Vol 4. The only reason I don’t swear that’s the case is because I’ve seen directors do it before and then retract their statements. But, for me, and especially for this set of Guardians, 3 is almost probably the end of the road.”
As the filmmaker hinted in that remark, the third film will almost certainly conclude the current Guardians stories.
Dave Bautista, in particular, has stated that he will not be returning to the series after Vol 3, therefore ending Drax the Destroyer’s tale.
“I figured everybody understood that this is how it works,” Bautista stated in an interview after notifying his supporters on Twitter that Vol 3 would be his last. James.”Brinkwire Summary News.” We work on trilogies.
