GTA 5 is no longer available with Xbox Game Pass, so here’s how much it’ll cost you to keep playing.

Fans of Grand Theft Auto 5 will be disappointed to learn that the Rockstar classic has been removed from Xbox Game Pass.

This week, Xbox Game Pass subscribers were given a major blow when GTA 5 was removed off the service.

On August 8, Grand Theft Auto 5 was deleted from Xbox Game Pass.

While there’s always the potential it’ll come back in the future, subscribers will have to buy the game entirely to continue playing right now.

On Xbox One, Grand Theft Auto 5 is currently available for £24.99.

That is for the premium edition, which includes the GTA Online Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack.

“The Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack is the quickest method for new GTA Online players to kickstart their criminal empires with the most interesting and popular content, plus $1,000,000 bonus cash to spend in GTA Online – all content worth over GTA$10,000,000 if purchased separately.”

Other editions have the same single-player and online content as the base game, as well as additional in-game currency to spend on upgrades.

If the news that GTA 5 is leaving Game Pass caught you off guard, you should know that six other games are also leaving this weekend.

Ape Out and Crossing Souls for PC, Darksiders Genesis, Don’t Starve, Final Fantasy VII, and Train Sim World 2020 on all platforms are included.

Of course, it’s not all bad news, because new titles are constantly being added to the Game Pass lineup.

This includes Sega’s upcoming strategy game Humankind, which will be released on August 17 and will be available on Game Pass for PC.

“Humankind is a synthesis of culture, history, and ideals that enables you to build a civilization as individual as you are.

“As you set out to leave the biggest impression on the globe, you’ll be rewriting the entire narrative of human history (…no pressure) from its humble origins in the Neolithic Era.”

More than 60 historical cultures from the Ancient to the Modern Era are represented in the game.

“Each of those cultures will contribute a distinct layer to the table, resulting in near-infinite possibilities. Every good deed and moral decision you make will add to the customization of your civilisation.

“Every action you take increases your fame, and the player who has the most fame wins the game.”

Art of Rally and “Brinkwire Summary News” are two other upcoming Game Pass titles.
