Green Goblin, Electro, and other villains return in Spider-Man No Way Home teaser 2 – WATCH.

SPIDER-MAN The second trailer for No Way Home has arrived, and fans can see it here. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parkers are rumored to be in the Tom Holland threequel, but for now, a slew of old Sony villains are back, from Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx’s Electro to Doc Ock, Sandman, and Lizard.

With only a teaser, Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer 2 smashed the record for the most watched trailer in its first 24 hours, breaking Avengers Endgame’s record. The trailer was shown today at a special fan event in Los Angeles hosted by Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, and it’s finally here. With Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange promising multiverse mayhem, it appears that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will be pitted against Spider-Man adversaries from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s films.

Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock from Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 2 appeared at the end of the first teaser trailer after disclosing his presence in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

And now he’s joined by Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin from the original Spider-Man film and Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman from Spider-Man 3 as well as four additional Sony villains.

Rhys Ifans’ Lizard represents Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man, and Jamie Foxx reprises his role as Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Given that this band of villains may very well make up a multiversal Sinister Six, some fans have wondered where the sixth villain is.

There will undoubtedly be another, possibly in Tom Hardy’s Venom, considering that he joined the MCU at the conclusion of Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

The second trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home reveals a little more about the plot of the impending movie.

Doctor Strange explains to Peter that the spell he cast to make the world forget he’s Spider-Man also broke open the cosmos, allowing these villains from other worlds to enter.

Doc Ock, who says, “You’re not Peter Parker,” doesn’t recognize Holland’s superhero, implying that he is the one for Maguire’s universe.

The Sorcerer Supreme then makes it obvious to Peter, MJ, and Ned that they must “Scooby Doo” the five villains by tracking them out and returning them to their respective planets.

And, at the end of the teaser, we see Spider-Man battling Electro, Sandman, and Lizard on what appears to be a. “Brinkwire News Summary.”
