Gray Atkins of EastEnders on the verge of being fired because of his plot to extort Shirley?
Gray Atkins, star of EASTENDERS, may be on the verge of revealing his murders and falsehoods, as his desperate efforts may lead to his demise.
For nearly two years, Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) has been able to sling his web of lies and deception over Walford inhabitants. Gray has escaped justice for the killings of his wife Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer), barmaid Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White), and love rival Kush Kazemi thus far (Davood Ghadami). Gray, however, has turned to using Tina’s death to extort money from Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) after being sacked from his work.
His ex-boss Laura Awoyinka has taken notice of his erratic behavior, despite the fact that the lawyer is still free of the three killings that have occurred at his hands (Sarah Paul).
Gray was almost arrested for his backseat romp with girlfriend Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams), which resulted in him getting fired.
He was shortly given his termination notice after failing to impress Laura and the firm’s HR representative.
Laura explained to Gray that his run-in with the cops was a “nice look.” Gray was taken aback by Laura’s decision.
Laura made it plain she was monitoring him before leaving his house when she told him she’d figured out his true colors a long time ago.
Laura was also aware that he was the one who had sent her unpleasant messages online, prompting her to threaten him with legal action and prevent him from receiving his final payment.
“You have this amazing front to yourself,” she explained. A big house, a fine automobile, and a pricey outfit. There will be nothing to hide behind if you don’t have a job or money.
“Everyone will recognize you for what you are: a dirty little misogynist! Women, especially women like me, are a threat.”
Gray hurried straight to The Queen Vic, enraged by the news he had just received and then learning Chelsea had been gloating about the fancy items she had purchased on his card.
To reclaim some control, Gray told Shirley he had recently seen Tina on a bus and lied, saying, “I assume she was attempting to come home.”
Shirley rushed over to Gray’s house with her son Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) to confront him about what he observed.
He admitted to them that he couldn’t be certain. “Brinkwire News in Condensed Form.”
