‘Grateful to be able to return,’ says the Strictly Come Dancing star after his first elimination.

The STRICTLY COME DANCING duo has announced their comeback to the show after being forced to leave owing to a positive Covid test.

After the celebrities and their professional partners returned to the dance floor for the second week of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday, the competition began to heat up. Another dancing duet didn’t make it to the screens but has officially confirmed their return, despite one pair being the first to be removed.

In the most recent episode of Strictly Come Dancing, professional Amy Dowden and McFly’s Tom Fletcher were noticeably absent.

Following testing positive for coronavirus after the first week’s show, the duo was forced to miss the show.

Despite this, Amy and Tom have stated that they will be back on the dance floor next week.

To share the news, the 31-year-old professional posted a selfie of herself with Tom pre-covid on Instagram.

“I can’t tell you how much I’m missing today’s band call, hair and makeup, dress run, and the anxiety of the live show,” she said in the post.

She stated, “I can’t even begin to convey how grateful I am to be able to return next week for movie week with the amazing @tomfletcher #mcflowden.”

“Sending all my love and luck to all the lovely couples today,” Amy added.

“I’ll be screaming and supporting you all from the edge of my sofa (you’ll probably hear me at Elstree)!” “Turn on tonight at 18:45 for another fantastic show,” the expert ended.

Amy-Dowden (@amy dowden) shared a post.

Other Strictly Come Dancing contestants responded to her words with their best wishes.

“We can’t wait to see you guys back on the dance floor,” comedian Judi Love said.

“Can’t wait to have you both back soon,” Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty commented.

Amy’s confirmation comes after a production insider told The Sun that the couple could miss two weeks of the dance competition.

Tom’s safety was a concern, since he might be forced to miss another week if he. “Brinkwire Summary News”.
