Gillian Anderson of The Crown swears she will never wear a “uncomfortable” bra again.
GILLIAN ANDERSON startled admirers by announcing that she no longer wears a bra.
Gillian Anderson, who portrayed Margaret Thatcher in the Netflix series The Crown, has chosen to avoid wearing “uncomfortable” bras. During the Covid-19 lockdown, the Sex Education actress has dressed more casually.
When asked to describe her favorite lockdown costume, the 52-year-old revealed the truth when asked.
During the pandemic, the X-Files actor admitted to becoming so “lazy” that she planned to stop wearing bras entirely.
The mother-of-three made fun of herself during an Instagram Live Q&A session, claiming her physique wasn’t what it used to be.
When asked about her favorite lockdown outfit, Gillian revealed that she hates losing her bra.
“It’s probably the same one I wore outside of lockdown — black track trousers with a matching hoodie. If I could, I’d wear it every day,” Gillian explained.
“I mean, I’ve become so lazy that I no longer wear a bra. I’m unable to wear a bra. I can’t, I can’t, I can’t. I apologise.”
“I don’t care if my breasts reach my belly button; I’m not wearing a bra anymore,” Gillian added. It’s just too f***ing unpleasant.
“So, I’m wearing black track trousers with a matching hoodie. If I could, I’d wear it every day.”
Her remarks were well received by supporters, who showered her with admiration.
“If two-time Golden Globe and Emmy winner actress Gillian Anderson says no more bras, who are we to disagree?” one person remarked on social media.
“If Gillian Anderson never wears a bra again, neither will I,” said another.
