Geri Horner, one of the Spice Girls, has been left ‘devastated’ by the death of her brother Max Halliwell, who died suddenly at the age of 54.
GERI HORNER has been described as “devastated” by the death of her older brother Max, who died in intensive care.
Max Halliwell, Geri Horner’s brother, is claimed to have died at the age of 54 after fainting at his house. The Spice Girl has yet to speak about her loss, but a source claims she is “completely shattered” by it.
“It’s been a tremendously difficult time since she learned Max had been brought to hospital, and the worst scenario which everyone close to the family hoped might not be,” the insider told The Sun.
“They’re all pulling together, but she’s at a loss for words and thoughts right now – she adored him.”
Max was located at his house and rushed to Watford General Hospital, according to the publication.
“The individual was identified and transported to hospital for treatment, where he regrettably subsequently died,” a Hertfordshire Constabulary spokeswoman said.”

His death will be referred to a coroner because it is not being viewed as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Geri has been approached for comment by this website.
“As you might understand, this is a tough moment,” a spokeswoman for the Spice Girls star stated. “We would ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this time.”
Geri has a close relationship with her older brother, who appeared in her Piers Morgan’s Life Stories episode in 2010.
In regards to his sister, he stated: “Geri had a strong desire to be the center of attention as a child.
“I believe Geri was a big fan of her father. Perhaps it was due of my father’s focus on her potential.” He then referred to the 49-year-old as a “daddy’s girl.”
Max went on to say that their family was “devastated” by their father Laurence’s abrupt demise.
