GB News’ Eamonn Holmes, 62, turns to a’mystical stick’ for health problems.

After damaging his sciatic nerve last year, EAMONN HOLMES has revealed that he has turned to a “mystical stick” to help him walk again.

Former This Morning host Eamonn Holmes is using a “mystical stick” to help him walk as he recovers from a difficult year.

Last year, the 62-year-old ITV host revealed that he’s been having a “very difficult time” while detailing his chronic pain journey.

Hopefully, this will encourage me to get out more.

In a new interview, Eamonn, who recently moved to GB News to co-host his show with Isabel Webster, discussed how a “mystical stick” has helped him recover.

After injuring his sciatic nerve last year, Eamonn documented his struggle with chronic pain.

As a result, Ruth Langsford’s husband had difficulty walking, but he has since stated that in 2022, he plans to get out more.

During his rehabilitation, the ITV star revealed that he had a custom-made walking aid made for him.

“This is a hazel branch decorated with vines from the forest,” Eamonn explained.

“It’s a homage to the tree spirits, the most powerful and wise of all spirits,” says the narrator.

The actor went on to say that the “sleeping spirit” provides him with protection through his stick.

“Hunters from ancient times would knock on trees before entering the woods to awaken the sleeping spirit for protection, which is where the expressions ‘knock on wood’ and ‘touch wood’ come from,” he explained.

“Well, fingers crossed,” he continued to The Daily Star, “this gets me out and about more, and that leg of mine gets stronger and better.”

Eamonn’s admission comes just days after he said his walking issues make his sons “embarrassed.”

“For months now, I haven’t been able to walk, sometimes at all,” Eamonn said of his mobility issues. “It has really taken its toll on everyone around me as well.”

“Because I can’t bend down to pick things up, Ruth has to wait on me, and I’m sure my sons, in particular, are embarrassed by the way I move.”

Eamonn’s health issues also prevent him from performing his daily tasks, including his presenting duties.

He, admitted the broadcaster.

“News from the Brinkwire.”
