Free titles for PlayStation Plus in October 2021: Shock PS4 reveal for competitor service

SONY might be on the verge of outdoing its PlayStation Plus October free game lineup with something far greater for its competing streaming service.

: PlayStation Now customers will be able to play The Last of Us Part II, Fallout 76, Desperados III, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Victor Vran: Overkill Edition, Yet Another Zombie Defense HD, and Amnesia: Collection starting later this week, according to Sony.

This roster will be considered as a significant improvement over previous months, and it appears to have surpassed the PS Plus October free games, which begin on October 5.

For the most part, PlayStation Plus is the star of the show, but October offers a unique roster for PS4 and PS5 gamers to enjoy.

Although Hell Let Loose may not be everyone’s cup of tea, having a brand new PS5 game to play serves two purposes: it delivers something original and next-gen, and it ensures that PS4 gamers are not left out.

In the meanwhile, PlayStation 4 owners can download and play PGA Tour 2K21 and Mortal Kombat X.

It’s hardly the best collection of free games Sony has ever offered, but there’s no denying that it covers a wide range of gaming genres.

However, it’s possible that PlayStation Plus may be overtaken by PlayStation Now in October, which isn’t something that happens very often.

The PlayStation Now streaming service allows you to play first-party and third-party games via the internet, eliminating the need for hardware.

It’s limited in terms of quality, and it’s also limited in terms of PS5 games in its collection.

It does, however, have hundreds of great PS4 titles to play, with new ones introduced every month, similar to PS Plus.

According to a fresh rumor, The Last of Us Part 2 will be added to PlayStation Now in October.

All leaks should be treated with a grain of salt, and the latest one about the new PlayStation Now games coming out in October is no exception. There have been other instances in the past where Sony has inadvertently added items to internet listings, and this recent discovery could be the same.

With only a few days until the next PS Now games go live, PS Now subscribers are on the lookout for any signs as to what’s next.
