Free PlayStation Plus games in January 2022: Great news for PS4 and PS5 owners.

This week brought some good news for PlayStation Plus members looking to get their hands on the latest batch of free PS4 and PS5 games.

Deep Rock Galactic is now available for download on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, and it appears to be a sure-fire hit with fans.

Since the new free titles went live in January, many PlayStation Plus subscribers have been battling giant Aranchids in the dark thanks to the game’s unique playstyle and setting.

However, some PlayStation owners have been unable to continue their journey due to some teething issues.

There have been a few issues with the server lists not working as they should and players being unable to connect with friends and get the free DLC.

The good news for PS Plus members is that Deep Rock Galactic has received its first patch, which addresses all of these issues.

While some players may be frustrated by the limited number of localized languages currently available in the game, developers Coffee Stain Studios have stated that more will be added in the future.

PS Plus members can get Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5, and Deep Rock Galactic for free until early February 2022, and they can download them now from the PlayStation Store.

The Persona 5 spinoff is compared to a mix of the Atlus RPG and Dynasty Warriors, with the latter’s hack and slash gameplay.

Meanwhile, Dirt 5, a rally racing game with multiple race styles and arcade gameplay, will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Deep Rock Galactic, the third and final PlayStation Plus game, is a co-op shooter in which a group of badass space Dwarves battle alien invaders.

“Dig, explore, and fight your way through a massive cave system filled with hordes of deadly enemies and valuable resources as a team.”

“If you want to survive the galaxy’s most hostile cave systems, you’ll need to rely on your teammates!”

On Steam, the game has received “overwhelmingly positive” feedback, with fans praising the game’s intuitive communication system and overall variety.

And, because Deep Rock Galactic isn’t yet available on the PlayStation Store, it’ll be a strong debut for the PS4 and PS5.

Meanwhile, some PS Plus members have reported receiving a different set of free games in January 2022.

Persona 5 Strikers has been removed in some regions, according to gamers.
